Your commitment to serving the rural and underserved populations in Pennsylvania will be highlighted with a resume that includes an additional 2 years of curriculum that supplement your completed degree and experience. 

Many employers are very interested in your ability to work as a team with other health professionals. This program will provide an interprofessional experience that will well prepare you for those interactions.

You will have the opportunity to shadow in several types of clinical environments and lead a community service or research project that may be presented at regional or statewide meetings.

As a Pennsylvania AHEC Scholar you will have the unique opportunity to train in our AHEC Poverty Simulations and receive Mental Health First Aid Training as part of the curriculum.
